We are currently recruiting a motivated and ambitious graduate for a newly created postion to work on the Company's automated platform and new drug development programmes.  This will be predominantly a laboratory-based role.

In this position, your main responsibilities will be the synthesis of linear peptide precursors for the generation of libraries of macrocycles. Other responsibilities will include compound purification and LC-MS analysis.

You must be eligible to work in the UK.

Job Description

The Role

A graduate scientist is sought to work on the Company's automated platform and new drug development programmes.  This will be a predominantly laboratory-based role.  In this position, your main responsibilities will be the synthesis of linear peptide precursors for the generation of libraries of macrocycles. Other responsibilities will include compound purification and LC-MS analysis.

The Requirements

You must be eligible to work in the UK.

Previous experience in the synthesis and analysis of peptides using solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS), and the use of HPLC and LC/MS would be advantageous.

An undergraduate degree in an appropriate chemical or biochemical subject would be expected, but consideration will also be given to applicants who have acquired the necessary experience within industry, particularly within drug discovery.
